Most brides dream of a beautifully decorated venue and bunting can add style and personality to your big day without costing the earth. One of the hottest wedding trends right now, nearly every wedding we see features bunting and we love the British boho feel that it can bring. With the rising cost of weddings, bunting is a cheap way to transform your venue.

1. On the ceiling

Bunting is an easy way to add colour to plain venues. With a large variety of styles and designs to chose from, you could create any theme you could imagine in an instant. Village fete, fun fair or pastel, bunting has no limits. Absolutely perfect for the ceilings of marquees, we also suggest hanging a few paper lanterns to really compliment the bunting and complete the look. They’re reasonably priced and look fabulous.

2. Attach it to your tables

Many couples are choosing to attach bunting to the front of their tables to give their wedding a more rustic feel. This looks especially great on the top table. We think it’s a fun, stylish and of course an affordable way to add style. We also suggest attaching it to the front of the dessert table and adding a charming bunting cake topper for the perfect finishing touch.

3. Attach it to your chairs

Finally there is an alternative way to decorate your chairs! Not all couples want the traditional chair covers and sashes and lets face it, hiring them isn’t cheap either. That’s why we love the fact you can use bunting on the back of chairs, it looks pretty and would be perfect for an outdoor setting. We suggest matching the bunting to the colour of your flowers. Not only is it easy to do but it looks fantastic in photos.

4. Hanging it from trees

If you have a garden at your wedding, make sure you make the most of it. If you're lucky enough to have great weather, everyone will want to be outdoors enjoying your special day. Making sure your garden is well decorated is thoroughly important. An affordable way to keep your garden area looking great is to hang bunting from the trees. We also suggest hanging tea light holders to really create a romantic setting.

5. Down the aisle

What better way to finish our list than to use bunting to decorate the most important part of your whole day… the ceremony. Hanging bunting along the seating looks super cute and adds a subtle pop of colour that completely transform your aisle. What an adorable alternative to flowers. We suggest you keep the bunting after your wedding as it looks fantastic around the home and what a lovely reminder of your special day!
