I bought this towel for my daughter as she was doing swimming at school and I thought that it would avoid being lost as it's very distinctive. We stopped using after the first week due to two reasons - it isn't as actively absorbent as an 8 year needs it to be when you're under a instructions to get changed quickly (!) and also - it was just too small!! Every child likes to wrap a towel around them. This barely covers the shoulders of my very average sized 8 year old. I would have sent it back, but I'd unwrapped it all and just hoped that it would all work out. It hasn't - and this is now a very expensive towel that will end up in the beach bag to get the sand off feet (as that's about the size it's perfect for) Very much style over substance with this this item.
